LINAC - An Alternative Radioisotope Production Methodology

ZERO LINAC is researching on leveraging the proven Linear Accelerator (LINAC) technologies to produce radioisotope for medical use. The technology accelerates nanoparticles to hit metallic target such as molybdenum, and subsequently produce radioactive isotopes such as molybdenum-99 and eventually technetium-99m. This tracer element is used in many medical imaging tests. By having this linear accelerator, ZERO Biotech will be able to make isotopes like molybdenum-99 or technetium-99m in their facility. This technology will become an unique alternative radio-isotope production method in the future.
